What We Do
Roofing first, and then the things that fail right next to a roof.
Simple Roofing Co started as a roofing company and still does most of its work on roofs. The reason the list below is longer than that is simple. When we pull a roof off a Houston house, the damage almost never stops at the shingles. The fascia behind the gutter is soft. The soffit has separated. There is a brown ring on the ceiling in the back bedroom that somebody has been painting over for two years.
Most roofers hand you a business card for someone else at that point. We would rather fix it, on the same Cost Plus terms, so you are not managing three contractors and three different stories about who caused what.
Every service on this page is priced the same way:
- Materials at the actual supplier invoice, which you see
- Labor at our published crew rate
- Permits and disposal passed through at cost
- One service fee of 20 to 30 percent depending on job complexity, quoted before anything starts and locked for the job
There is no second number. Here is how that works in detail.

What we do not do
Being honest about the edges of the list is part of the same promise. We do not do full kitchen or bathroom remodels, foundation work, electrical service upgrades, or anything structural that requires a stamped engineer's drawing we did not commission. If your job needs one of those, we will tell you on the inspection instead of taking the work and learning on your house.
We also will not touch your insurance claim as your representative. That is not caution, it is Texas law, and it is worth understanding before you hire anyone. The reason is here.
Common Questions
Do you charge for the inspection?
No. The inspection is free, you get the photos and the written assessment whether or not you hire us, and there is no obligation attached to it.
Can you do more than one of these at the same time?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper that way. If the crew is already set up and the dumpster is already on the drive, adding the fascia and soffit work to a roof replacement costs less than calling someone back out in six months.
Is Cost Plus pricing more expensive?
It is usually less. You are paying the real material cost plus a stated fee instead of a lump sum with an unknown margin inside it. What it definitely is is checkable, because you hold the supplier invoice.
Not sure which one you need?
That is what the free inspection is for. We photograph it and tell you, in writing, even if the answer is that you do not need us yet.
